**REPORTING**
The Production Lead reports to the company supervisor and owners.
**AVAILABLE SHIFTS**
- **Day shift: 8:00 am - 5 pm**
**RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Prepare daily production Batches.
- In collaboration with the company supervisor: Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities between the conversion department and production department.
- Build to schedule, at optimum equipment efficiencies for all production requirements.
- Ensure that Management is informed daily about quality, quantity, personnel, safety and any other issues that require immediate attention.
- Train and evaluate employees in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Investigate and deal with personnel issues. Administer progressive disciplinary action when necessary.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment and ensure all safety rules are followed.
- Perform troubleshooting of machines and related equipment.
- Resolve production errors and disputes including connecting with customers to resolve production issues.
- In collaboration with the company supervisor: Requisition or request materials and supplies.
- Prepare production and other reports where required.
- Attend and contribute to production meetings.
- inform and follow up with company supervisor and owners on all machine/maintenance related issues.
- Execute projects as assigned by the company owners to improve plant processes (e.g. implementation of lean manufacturing practices).
- Maintain professional behavior in all dealings with customers, employees and colleagues.
- Participate in Interviews and production operators’ recruitment when it is required.
- Perform other duties as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years production management experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Completion of a University degree or College diploma is a requirement.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, problem solving, coaching, technical skills and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in quality and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical ability and detail orientation.
- Experience in dealing with personnel issues including discipline, investigations and health/safety compliance.
- Ability to influence others and effectively work in a team.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel (required)
- Knowledge of google tools: google drive, google sheets in particular.
- Physical capacity of lifting up to 50lb.

**Salary**
- 45k to 55k
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
