Barrier Group is looking for an experienced **Field Safety Coordinator**. We are looking for an outgoing, adaptable individual looking to learn and grow within our team and industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitation, implementation and administration of HSE policies, procedures and systems
- Monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, rules and regulations
- Lead by demonstrating the required behaviours, attitudes and mindset to further develop an already strong corporate safety culture
- Provide consultation and assist in risk assessment, hazard analysis and job planning
- Create buy-in from employees towards safe work practice compliance and reporting of incidents, promoting strong participation at safety meetings and other Health and Safety initiatives
- Promote and maintain a positive work environment for all employees
- Inspect workplace areas through observation
- Responsible for reporting and investigating incidents and near misses

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Field Safety Coordinator
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with 3-year clean Driver’s Abstract
- Certified NCSO
- CSTS or PCST Certification
- Standard First Aid Certification
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and pre-access drug and alcohol testing

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture
- Must be dependable
- Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to travel
