**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Filipino Personal Support Worker (PSW)**to join our team in **Vaughan, Ontario**. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Experience with stroke patients is a must, and knowledge of how to cook, clean, and manage household duties is essential. We are looking for someone who is respectful, caring, friendly, accountable, and passionate about improving the lives of others.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Offer supervision and assistance with mobility, ensuring safety while promoting independence.
- Administer prescribed medication and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for the client.
- Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence while assisting with daily tasks.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals, including those for stroke patients, dementia, and hospice care.
- Promote safe mobility and feeding practices to ensure comfort and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, performing light housekeeping duties as needed.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must be a **Filipino** PSW residing in **Vaughan, Ontario**.
- Proven experience working with elderly patients, particularly those recovering from a stroke.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to assist with moderate lifting and supervise mobility to maintain safety.
- Experience in cooking, cleaning, and managing household duties.
- Compassionate, friendly, and accountable, with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Some medical background is preferred, with knowledge of safe feeding and mobility practices.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain a professional, caring approach at all times.
- Experience in home care, nursing homes, or hospice care settings is advantageous but not required.
