**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging educational programs tailored to the needs of children and young adults.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for youth to express themselves and build confidence.
- Work closely with individuals with disabilities, providing assistance and encouragement in daily activities.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and community organizations to support the holistic development of youth.
- Monitor progress and adapt programs as necessary to meet the evolving needs of participants.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and any incidents that occur during programming.
- Lead group activities that promote teamwork, social skills, and personal growth.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children or young adults is essential.
- Familiarity or experience in supporting individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage youth.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of youth programming.
- **Successful applicants will be required to provide a Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening at their own expense.**

Pay: $15.80 per hour
