SALES REPRESENTATIVE - VANCOUVER / LOWER MAINLAND
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $75,000.00 Plus Uncapped Commission
Are you an experienced sales generator passionate about offering customers sustainable and energy-efficient solutions? Due to a combination of rapid expansion and continuous promotion from within, Talius is seeking a Sales Representative for Vancouver / the Lower
Mainland with excellent organization and relationship development skills. In this role you will work closely with internal departments to develop and implement outside sales and support programs. As a key member of the sales team, you’ll be joining a leading clean-tech solutions company that offers environmentally ethical solutions for our communities and for our planet. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, select, and establish new outside partners in the region
- Define processes and establish communication between all functional domains
(outside sales desk, logistics, finance, service, technical support, etc.)
- Set / meet quarterly and annual sales targets, organize quarterly business reviews, and make monthly sales forecasts
- Define and support go-to-market strategies with partners (events, roadshows, e
- Newsletters, product launches, etc.)
- Drive and support partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training, and support
- Define list pricing and discount levels in accordance with Talius policies
- Influence and seek the support of end-users, architects, specifiers, consultants, and thought leaders
- Have exceptional understanding and knowledge of Talius products
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence, with a clean Driver’s Abstract, as travel is expected
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Construction industry, particularly Channel Sales experience is an asset
- Experience in indirect sales, market / business development, or related field
- Proven success prospecting, establishing pipelines, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Business, economics, marketing, and/or engineering degree(s) OR equivalent
- Determined self-starter with a high degree of integrity, sense of urgency, passion for high performance, and attention to detail who thrives working in a team environment and individually
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be a direct, articulate, and thoughtful communicator
- Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills
SALARY
- $75,000 annually
- Plus commission
