Primary responsibilities will include:

- Financial statement preparation for compilations, review engagements and audits
- Preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns
- Examine accounting records and transactions
- Communicating with clients, CRA, etc.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal controls
- Prepare reports and audit findings
- Other accounting functions such as bookkeeping and payroll services

Qualifications:

- B.Comm
- One to two years of experience in public practice is an asset

Skills, knowledge & work experience:

- Passion for accounting
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Decision making
- Strong project and time management abilities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a group
- Experience in CaseWare and Profile is considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
