The Marriott Château Champlain has always been at the heart of Montreal's tourism and commercial activity. Located in downtown Montreal, our completely renovated hotel features 614 guest rooms and suites, as well as 23 meeting rooms. In order to meet the demands of a constantly changing market, we are looking for the person who can provide our guests with an innovative, unique and memorable experience.

Reporting to the Revenue Manager, you will have the opportunity to build a strong relationship with customers by making room reservations for individual and group clients. In addition, as part of your duties, you will be responsible for answering customer questions about the surrounding area and the establishment.
- Respond to telephone or written inquiries from external and internal clients regarding rooms and suites
- Make room reservations by promoting promotional rates and packages
- Take advantage of upselling opportunities with customers over the phone
- Inform the client of policies (cancellations, guarantees, restrictions, and special requirements related to their rate)
- Reserve rooms using the MARSHA and Empower computerized reservation system
- Modify or cancel a reservation
- Enter accommodation lists submitted by the conference service for future groups
- Manage changes made to reservations (queues in MARSHA)
- Respond to third-party billing requests using Converge

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of MARSHA, Empower, FSPMS, Excel, Word systems
- 2 years of experience (preferred)

**Salary**:The proposed salary is $28.52 per hour. In addition, you will receive benefits and preferential rates in all hotels owned by the Tidan Group.

**Education**:

- Degree in Hotel Management or a related field (asset)

**Languages**:

- Bilingualism (French and English) in both oral and written communication is required for this position, as we serve an international clientele.
