**Job Summary**
Raymond James Trust Canada (RJTC) is seeking a qualified Trust Associate for our Montreal office.
As a Trust Associate working out of one of our primary Raymond James offices in Canada, you are an experienced and trusted administrative support associate able to work in a dynamic environment within a growing team and business. Reporting to the VP Trust Operation, you have strong client servicing abilities and are able to support a team of professionals across our Trust business in Canada. You work collaboratively with various business units and are able to easily navigate technology to support the administrative functions and duties of your mandate. You bring a positive mindset to the work you do and are willing to support and help others to achieve the overall goals of our growing Trust business.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Providing support to the Raymond James Trust team of professionals to deliver best in class service and support to our clients, internal partners and external stakeholders;
- Able to maintain excellence in service standards in order to maximize relationship retention and growth and foster credibility and trust with our partners and clients;
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer;
- Support the maintenance and updating of records, clients files, pipelines related to the service delivery to clients as well as sales management tools;
- Responsible for the on-boarding of all new Trust company accounts, works collaboratively with our RJL teams to ensure the accounts are set up according to compliance requirements and ensures controls are in place;
- Coordinate key activities as it relates to tracking, metrics and key milestones in our Trust & Estate account administration and sales processes;
- Assist the Senior Trust Officer with Estate and Trust account administration work as it relates to tasks associated to settling estates, administering Power of Attorney accounts and Trust account administration;
- Assist in business development activities, preparing proposals, organizing meetings, putting materials together for client and advisor presentations;
- Managing team inbox, dispatching of new leads to the field, tracking and managing pipelines, will bank administration, providing support and follow-up as required;
- Build and maintain knowledge of the integrated wealth offering with a focus on the Estate and Trust products, services and procedures;
- Support audits and compliance reviews as required;
- Support timely execution of risk and compliance processes to ensure safeguarding of assets, compliance with privacy laws and adherence to policies to act in the best interest of our clients; and
- Possess an ability to prioritize task, manage competing priorities and organize time to ensure effective delivery of support to our clients, team and business partners.
**Qualifications**

- MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
**Skill in**
- Strong communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic work environment with competing priorities while maintaining accountability to deliver on established goals and metrics;
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and deepen partnerships;
- High degree of comfort working with different technology platforms, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change within the operational framework; and
- Creative mindset around use of technology as it relates to building templates, spreadsheets and tools to support the sales and service delivery of our business.
**Ability to**

- Invest into the Trust industry by way of continuing education courses and learning programs ;
- Have a Driver’s license;
- Travel from time to time to support business needs and client meetings ;
- Organizing, multi-tasking, and prioritizing ; and
- Paying strong attention to detail.
**Educational/ Previous Experience Requirements**
- Professional and/or industry accreditation;
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study;
- 3-5 years relevant industry experience;
- Proven knowledge/experience working with/ for a Trust Company;
- Demonstrated experience working with High Net Worth clients;
- Membership (or commitment to participate) with CSI and/or STEP; and
- Proficiency in English and French (asset). Proficiency in French in our office in Montreal
