Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **IT System Administrator** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. The IT System Admin will be responsible for the management of Flair’s core systems (NavBlue, Pelesys, AmeliaRES, MISChoice), by ensuring that any hardware conforms to the required specification and that no incompatible or unauthorized software is installed.
The System Admin will also be responsible for training, performing integrations, configuring the system for any new or updated business initiative, and testing updates. The role requires a team player that possesses superior communication; excellent interpersonal skills and is also a self-starter with both a strong sense of urgency and the ability to find their own solutions to problems and work independently when needed.
**Primary Accountabilities**:
- Responsible for compliance with manufactures instructions, supplier guidelines, and regulatory and STC requirements.
- Ensuring all software installed is compatible.
- Creating and running custom reports
- Conduct user training.
- Checking of data and software content prior to load and release for operational use.
- Develop and establish procedures in a Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Responsible for overseeing regular licence audits and quality checks.
- Perform internal UAT testing.
- Review processes and procedures regularly to ensure continuous improvements to meet the changing needs of the effected departments.
- Responsible for developing and delivery of effective and efficient API’s.
- Liaise closely with and provide all relevant information to the Information Technology department, Finance, Payroll, and Human Resources.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
- Complete technical configurations that meet the needs of the business including but not limited to user roles, delay codes, messaging setup/addition, etc.

- Support the SMS program through participation and reporting
**Qualifications and Educational Requirements**:
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience as a System Administrator or related role
- Knowledge of Airline; Flight Operations, Airport Operations, systems, and processes
- Knowledge of scripting and API’s.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot a variety of technical problems associated with computer hardware, peripheral equipment, associated operating systems, and software
- A motivated individual with a high degree of professional and personal flexibility
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Maintain a high level of operational and technical knowledge necessary to meet the requirements of the role
- Knowledge of aircraft communication systems including ACARS, Wifi, and LTE is an asset
- Experience in Project management and change management is desirable
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, be fluent in spoken/written English and hold and maintain a valid passport that allows for travel across the airline’s network.
- Ability to obtain and hold a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
