Restaurant Assistant Manager

**Hours: 6-2, 8-5pm**
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including food production, customer service, and staff management.
- Manage labour costs through effective floor management
- Ensure high-quality food and beverage service, maintaining consistency and adherence to company standards.
- Train and supervise restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve profitability, and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to keep updated menus, ensuring that product launches and promotions are executed with perfection.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Coach & discipline Team Members as needed
- Resolve Guest issues, as well as working with your team to minimize issues
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, preparation, and presentation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of shift management techniques to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Clearview experience an asset
- Computer Skills - Point of Sale System, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Tim Hortons experience required
