The sales consultant’s role is one of true importance. As a sales consultant with IDC, you will build relationships with your customers while continuously learning as the telecommunications industry is ever changing.

What You’ll Bring:

- Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and have fun doing it
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
- Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.
- Experience in Sales is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
- Use probing questions and sales techniques to qualify customers before selling a product or service.
- Be a brand ambassador for IDC Communications which includes looking for new sales opportunities while at work as well as on personal time.
- Keep up to date on current devices, promotions, and services. Make sure to constantly be researching competitive offers through websites and phone calls.
- Greeting customers and answer phones.
- Complete all paperwork fully, accurately and file in the correct areas.
- Keep general work area clean and participate in end of day store cleaning if on a closing shift.
- Consistently review and assess sales targets.
- Always conduct yourself in a professional matter, whether at work, attending company events and discussing sales opportunities outside of work.
