**What You Will Do**

In this role, you will report to the Director of Harm Reduction and be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Carepoint Consumption Treatment Site (CTS) to support people who consume drugs and are living with, impacted by or at risk of HIV/AIDS/HCV. Currently, the CTS program manager works very closely with the Counterpoint Needle and Syringe Program (NSP) with both programs primarily operating out of a new state-or-the-art harm reduction facility that runs 365 days a year, 12-hours a day and in the community.

In this work, you will:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Consumption and Treatment Site, ensuring that services are provided efficiently, safely, and in alignment with harm reduction principles and best practices.
- Lead and support a team of 15-20 client-serving staff and team lead, including scheduling, providing training, mentorship, ongoing development, and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely data collection, that will inform regular report requirements and evidence-based decision making.
- Collaborate with the Director of Harm Reduction to develop, implement, and evaluate strategies and programming that enhance the effectiveness and inclusiveness within the CTS, and across departments.
- Work collaboratively with community partners and local organizations to reduce barriers for those accessing harm reduction and support/treatment services.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards to ensure the site's compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
- Participate in RHAC’s leadership rotating 24/7 on call function and provide back up to Counterpoint Manager.

**What You Will Bring**
- Post secondary degree or diploma in nursing, paramedicine, social services and/or related field (RPN/RN/Paramedic preferred).
- Proven experience (5 years) in harm reduction, substance use treatment, or related field
- Management, supervisory, and organizational skills, including experience coaching those with living/lived experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of harm reduction principles and service delivery with a commitment to promoting the health and safety of people who use substances.
- A commitment to continued learning and staying updated on developments in harm reduction and in HIV/HCV prevention and care.
- First Aid/CPR (BLS level) and Naloxone training - preferred
- Knowledge and skills related to working with people who are living with, at risk of or impacted by HIV/HCV; who may be vulnerable and marginalized; and may also be experiencing challenges related to mental health, substance use and homelessness.
- Oral and written communication skills, crisis intervention knowledge including conflict resolution and non-violent conflict intervention, bystander training and other forms of interpersonal relations training.
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, including occupational health and safety
- Social services knowledge and skills, including availability of community resources.
- Computer software and presentation skills, including both in-person and remote contexts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
