Machine Operator

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Corrugated Production team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are excited by a culture of Continuous Improvement, this could be the perfect fit for you.

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play an essential role on our production floor, contributing to the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and ensuring high-quality output. This position is based at our Mitchell Island location (11300 Twigg Place, Richmond) on our afternoon shift:

- **Monday-Friday, 3:30pm-12:00am**

**Compensation**:
The typical hiring range for this position is $20.50-25.00/hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for producing/manufacturing corrugated products in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Ensure finished goods are packaged and tagged accurately to be ready for shipping
- Operate machines such as a large laminator, small bandsaw and pallet jack to move materials
- Ensure processes and systems are being followed properly and that paperwork is filled out accordingly, accurately and forwarded on time
- Complete orders on time and maintain our 99% on-time delivery goal
- Responsible for the quality of products manufactured
- Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and inform appropriate personnel of any problems
- Count inventory as required
- Make samples as required

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to work well with people in a team environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Desire to learn and succeed
- Good organization skills and reliable work habits
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Previous machine operating experience is preferred
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, as this position requires lifting, bending and moderate physical exertion
