**Field Technician (Co-op Position)**

**Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation**

**Timmins, ON**

Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin’s Sudbury office is offering a 4 month co-op placement for a Field Technician within the Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation group for May 2025 term.

This is an ideal position for any student looking for practical, hands-on experience to complement their academic program. As a valued member of our team you will do exciting, challenging work, solve real environmental problems, and make a meaningful impact. You will learn about the business and build your own professional network by working closely with senior professionals in the industry.

**A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin**:

- Conduct groundwater monitoring and sampling
- Conduct soil sampling
- Oversee Utility Locates
- Shadow and supervise drilling and monitoring well installations
- Inspect and test during environmental remediations
- Summarize data and drawings
- Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
- Liaise between clients and contractors; maintain existing client relationships and build upon new ones

**What you bring to the Pinchin team**:

- Pursuing a degree/diploma in either environmental science, environmental engineering, or water resources engineering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook is required
- Relevant work experience will be considered an asset
- Strong ethical principles
- High attention to detail
- Current and valid driver’s license with sufficient insurance
