Solutions Consultant

Prophix is experiencing immense growth and we are expanding our Solution Engineering team The team works closely with innovative companies interested in leveraging Prophix’s market leading Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solution.

A Solutions Consultant is a dynamic individual who has a strong desire to learn and solve problems creatively and quickly. The position will report to the Director, Solution Engineering within the Customer Sales team and will work extensively with various internal and external clients.

**What You Will Do at Prophix**

Key Responsibilities:

- Research & develop demonstration content for specific use cases and industries.
- Support and enable Prophix resources, external partners, and international teams with your content to drive software sales
- Configure Proof of Concepts (POCs) that address specific prospect and/or customer needs to prove Prophix is uniquely positioned to solve their challenges.
- Be the go-to support on demonstration infrastructure & content.
- Maintain & extend library of assets, including software updates, and incorporating new use cases & features/functions into demonstrations.
- Work collaboratively with our Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to form messaging & uncover potential use cases for Prophix’ Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform.
- Attend tradeshows and industry conferences to speak about and showcase Prophix’s award-winning solution.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in consulting, implementation services, business / systems analyst, pre-sales and / or financial systems experience
- Demonstrated experience designing re-usable processes & solutions (e.g. Excel models, automation scripts, ETL processes, etc.)
- Successful completion of a Post-Secondary Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Business, or related field
- Experience in analyzing and / or manipulating large data sets
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technology, its benefits, and how it can be leveraged to achieve business goals & objectives
- Able to clearly articulate concepts and business benefits to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Gather and understand business requirements, current challenges and propose solutions.
- Natural presenter with great interpersonal skills and comfortable in the spotlight.
- You have a thirst for knowledge and enjoy researching and uncovering solutions to problems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Academic or practical knowledge of Accounting and/or Financial concepts (e.g. planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and reporting) is preferred.
- Previous experience with BI tools, EPM / CPM solutions and/or data warehousing is an asset.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel is a plus.
