Dishwasher / Dining Room Server

**OBJECTIVE**:
Seeking an energetic individual

**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**:

- Washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery as needed
- Sanitize inside and outside of dishwashing machine before washing glasses and cups
- Change dishwasher water after cleaning it
- Heat up soup bowls and dishes prior to service
- Take and record dishwasher temperatures as required
- Assisting in the kitchen when needed
- Assist with vegetable prep. time provided (peeling carrots, onions, potatoes)
- Ensure all dishes are cleared and cleaned off the carts. Clean carts and store behind servery
- Clean and sanitize dishwash area including machine and stainless-steel walls and counter space, as well as back prep. area
- Take out all garbage, compost, and cardboards
- Floors: Maintain a clean and dry floor throughout shift. Mop and sweep floors including hallway, dishwash area, front and back of kitchen. Sweep the walk-in cooler
- End of your shift: Move rolling racks from hallway to cooler at the end of your shift, lock the door
- Washing and sanitizing tables and chairs prior to setting for meals
- Setting up dining room tables in preparation for meal services (lunch & dinner)
- Service of lunch or dinner to residents includes pouring hot and cold beverages, delivering meals to each individual resident, clearing tables of dirty dishes, serving dessert
- Assisting residents in and out of the dining room safely
- Bussing tables to specific dirty dish storage areas after meal periods
- Laundering of dirty linens and table coverings after meal service
- Resetting the dining room tables in preparation for the next meal service
- Side work includes filling salt & pepper, making juices, stocking supplies, and other duties as assigned by the Senior Dining Room Server
- Dry mopping and washing the floor between meal service times
- Completing weekly cleaning tasks as instructed by the Senior Dining Room Server

**MUST BE AVAILABLE WED-SUN 1030AM-7PM**

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
