Job description
The Investigators Group Inc. was founded in 1995. We are an established private investigation and security services company that provides a wide range of investigative solutions for our clients. We are looking to hire Plain Clothes Security Guard to assist our many retail clients. This is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic individual starting their law enforcement career or a seasoned professional. The Investigators Group will provide training to help you be successful.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conducting surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters
- Minimize the financial loss of retail items related to theft
- Write apprehension and prevention reports
- Follow policies and procedures
**Requirements**:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest
- Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently and possess initiative and integrity
- English (written and verbal)

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
