In this role, you will be called upon to specify solutions related to the optimization of technology performance, interact frequently with internal customers, and popularize and share information with other administrators on the team. With your expertise and experience, you will be able to go beyond the symptoms, deconstruct a problem, and perform root cause analysis. You will participate with the architecture consultant in the development of a technology vision, collaborate in building the blueprint, and oversee the design, while building strong relationships with vendors. - Recommend improvements (software and hardware upgrades) to optimize system performance and reliability; - Work with architects on solutions to be implemented, make recommendations on technological architectures; - Develop a technological vision and be called upon to make decisions on the architecture; - Validate and plan the integration and implementation of technical solutions; - Diagnose problems and evaluate resolution time; - Write and/or update documentation related to operating procedures and technology configuration; - Plan and validate the installation of the various systems and their maintenance; - Work with the security team to establish standards; - Follow up on existing problems, analyze them, seek solutions, and make the appropriate corrections; - Proceed with configuration and requests for modifications and additions; - Interpret the analysis and maintenance reports of the equipment, and keep all related tools up to date; - Train and coach less experienced administrators (advisory role). - When it just clicks Does this sound like you? Fully qualified, the Expert Administrator: - Possesses in-depth knowledge of technologies and impacts on other sectors; - Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy in carrying out the mandates entrusted to them; - Uses their experience and creativity to solve complex problems; - Performs in-depth analyses, taking into account a multitude of factors and parameters; - Evaluates several approaches, methods and tools to identify the best options; - Collaborates in the planning of schedules, participates, if necessary, in the phases of large-scale work; - Participates in large-scale corporate projects. Cisco IOS: - Dynamic routing (OSPF and BGP); - Virtual network (VLAN and VRF); - VPN "site to site" and "remote client"; - DNS (Bind); - DHCP from ISC; - AAA authentication (TACACS+/Radius); - Cisco environments (router, switch, firewall, load balancer); - Protocols (Ethernet, ATM, SONET, TDM); - Communication with teams in French and English languages.
