**OBJECTIVE**:
The Network/Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, security, and optimization of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role ensures reliable performance of servers, networks, storage, and related systems to support business operations. The administrator will manage hardware, software, and networking resources, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to maintain a secure and efficient environment.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Network administration
- Monitor, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPNs
- Ensure network availability, performance, and security across LAN/WAN/MPLS environments
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize bandwidth utilization

2. Systems Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, VMware platform and MS Entra ID cloud services
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related infrastructure services
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues

3. IT Security
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, including patch management, endpoint protection, and access controls
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Monitor IT Security systems, alerts and abnormal activities

4. Support and collaboration
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues
- Collaborate with helpdesk and other IT staff to resolve incidents quickly
- Implement and support POS systems
- Work with vendors and service providers for escalated support and procurement

5. Documentation and process improvement
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
- Recommend and implement improvements in infrastructure, security, and processes

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum of a College diploma in Information Technology
- 7+ years of experience in a similar position
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Proficiency with Windows Server Services (AD, DNS, DHCP, ADFS- 2008 and above)
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, firewalls, and enterprise Wi-Fi/Radius solutions
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards (NIST, MITRE) and best practices; background in cybersecurity considered an asset
- Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines
- Experience with VMware technologies, private/public certificates, and POS systems
- Bilingualism (French/English)
