**How you will contribute**
You are responsible for baking samples in the lab and working closely with R&D, Quality Control and Shipping and Receiving to ensure non-conformances are managed.

As a Baker you will:

- Complete daily baking of retained samples.
- Evaluate retained samples by measuring.
- Learn baking for different products.
- Communicate with Shipping & Receiving and QC for non-conformance of baked products.
- Organize, retain samples in storage freezer.
- Identify the expired retained samples to be disposed (monthly).
- Perform follow-up baking in case of a customer complaint.
- Sample testing (sensory)
- Assist in store when needed.
- All other duties as required/ assigned.

**What will make you successful**
- Excellent communication skills (speak, read, write English).
- Flexible work schedule, may require to work the occasional week-end during peak season.
- Good time management skills, organized and work independently.

- Potential allergen exposure and consumption during sensory evaluations.
- May be required to stand/ sit for long periods of times.
- May engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.
- Due to the environment, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
