**Project Specialist**

The **Project Specialist** will work closely with **Northern Alberta Regional Centre for Healthy Aging**, which promotes a holistic approach to healthy aging through knowledge sharing, research and community engagement. They will also oversee the **implementation of frailty assessment tools by** **providing** **leadership and training to enable the use of the tools in front line work. **The Project Specialist will also **engage with other community organizations** to implement and promote the benefits of the developed assessment tools, identify barriers to use and provide trouble-shooting assistance. This position also includes program development and data collection and evaluation.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Master’s Degree in a related field**:

- Provide Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector
- Vehicle required; valid Class 5 driver’s license and $2 million auto liability insurance
- **Experience in community engagement and public education**:

- **Program development and implementation experience**:

- Have a clear understanding of inclusive, anti-oppressive practice
- Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $26.24-$29.21 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
