Misty Pines is a small café and bakery located in Wesley Square in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo. We are looking for someone with a good attitude, work ethic and the drive for perfection Our hours of operation are 8am-4pm 7 days a week. The barista position will have hours between 7:30am-4:30pm.

**Duties**
- General customer service, clearing dishes and sanitizing tables, using a POS
- Making different varieties of coffee
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment such as the coffee machine and grinder
- Providing great customer experiences through superior service
- Creating strong knowledge of the food and drinks we offer
- Ensuring quality control of food
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including equipment, personal tools and utensils; understand and abide by Health & Safety standards and Food Safe requirements
- Regular cleaning of the bar area and front area
- Other duties as required
- Packaging food and drinks to go
- Making sandwiches and salads as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
