**Hiring a Early Learning Centre Manager**

**Qualification**:

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- One to three years of experience in the Childcare, Early Childhood Education or Education is required.
- A college diploma or vocational certificate in Education and/or Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Holds a valid BC ECE (Early Childhood Educator) Certificate is an asset.

**Main duties**:

- Responsible for the daily operations, administration, and staff leadership of our early learning centre
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of our centre
- Plan, develop and implement child development programs
- Oversee the learning environment and daily activities for children
- Communicate with parents and guardians
- Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Plan and control budget and inventory
- Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems
- Hire, train and supervise early childhood educators and/or staff.

**Working conditions**:
Working hours: 30 hours per week (full-time & permanent position)

Wage: $36.60 per hour

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, 2 weeks paid vacation during the winter break, 5 sick days per year, and extended medical/dental benefits
