We are currently looking to fill an IT support position within our IT Department located in our Edmonton, AB office.

**Working as an IT Support Agent, you will**:
The primary responsibility of IT Support person is to support end user technologies, including desktop, printer, devices, network, and systems of all types, providing technical support, and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.

Secondary responsibility includes the supplying of operational support to other Pyxis internal operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide general support to inquiries that come in from end users.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and
scanners.
- Assist in the monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Providing technical support across the company (both in person and over the phone).
- General hardware maintenance and upkeep.
- Maintaining and updating log entries of all computer assets.
- Cradle to grave process on the setup and termination of user accounts in all systems.
- Perform regular maintenance on all systems accounts both in the Microsoft Tenant/Entra
Tenant and on all 3rd party systems to ensure users are updated properly.
- Perform random audits on internal network resources to ensure Acceptable Use
Guidelines are being followed.
- Additional projects as designated by Manager of IT.
- Assisting other areas of Pyxis Operations supplying technical support and coverage as
needed.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
- Able to handle multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as work independently.

**Beneficial Experience**:

- Previous work experience in the IT support would be an asset.
- Knowledge of the following working areas would be beneficial:

- Windows 10 and 11
- Remote Desktop
- Virtual Machines
- Windows Server
- SFTP
- Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure)
- Soft Phone Applications

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
