**Job Summary**

The Lead Carpenter will oversee the project when the company owner is not on site, ensuring that all work meets quality standards and is completed on time. You will also be responsible for coordinating with other trades to achieve project goals.

**Responsibilities**
- Absorb and retain all the details required to bring a project together--Make lots of lists
- Maintain an orgainized, clean, and productive jobsite while progressing carpentry projects from demolition to finishing, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines.
- Work with the company owner and meet the high standard expected by our clients.
- Perform a variety of skilled tasks, including but not limited to installing and maintaining site protection, light demolition/deconstruction, renovation specific framing (floor/ceiling levelling, wall flattening/squaring), installing trim, doors, misc finishing work.
- Read and interpret architectural and designer drawings.
- Work safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as necessary.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in various carpentry techniques.
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise on the job site.
- Physical stamina for performing physical work and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration with other trades.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
