Halton Hills, Canada KN Property Maintenance Full time

KN Property Maintenance is an award-winning company situated in both Georgetown and Brampton Ontario. We are hiring for the position of Property Maintenance Crew member. This position is year-round with varying hours throughout the year. The Lawn Maintenance aspect is full-time from mid-April to November with a potential contract extension for on-call snow removal, which includes commercial and residential properties, from November till mid-April.

**Job Duties**:

- Plan and manage the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM including all daily labor, equipment and materials required to complete daily objectives
- Be aware and suggest areas of improvement outside contract for all clients serviced
- Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings and perform other lawn care duties
- Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn tractors, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, rototiller
- Assist in other job-related duties including clean-ups, sod, and soil and mulch deliveries
- Complete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis, including: daily time tracking
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
- Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to carry out verbal and oral instructions
- Be in adequate physical shape in order to carry out all required tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment and as a member of a crew
- Ability to work individually without direct supervision
- Time management skills
- Must be prepared and able to work in all weather conditions
- Work Safety boots

**Experience**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00 to $24.00 /hour

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halton Hills, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (required)
