Mitigation Supervisor

**About Us**

Paul Davis is one of the largest restoration and home improvement companies in North America. Our Cornwall branch is a start up with a good potential for growth and has a team built of individuals that are eager and willing to work hard in a team environment.

We are looking for a person to join this team as a full-time Mitigation Supervisor.
**Responsibilities of the Job**:
The Mitigation Supervisor keep employees on task with timelines in mind and reports to the Mitigation Coordinator. This individual would also be responsible for carrying out mitigation and emergency tasks as well as communicating with clients.
**Desired Work Experience**:

- 3 years of mitigation and emergency restoration experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience desirable

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- College program in related field is an asset

**Duties and Skills**:

- Direct and assist mitigation technicians
- Ensure equipment and material safeguarding practices are being adhered to
- Setup and monitor onsite equipment
- Take psychrometric readings, room measurements, and photo documentation
- Accurately and promptly fill out required paperwork
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Meet all health and safety requirements
- Must be willing (and able) to work 40-50 hours per week with 7:00am starts
- Able to evaluate customer requests and communicate effectively

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- G licence with a clean record
- Applicants require a resume and mitigation related references
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Recent police check is required

**Desirable**:

- Experience using mobile apps to document worksite
- Supervisory experience (2-5 employees)
- Training experience

**Salary**: $21.50-$25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime

- Cornwall, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
