The Cross Cultural Learner Centre is a non-profit organization, located in London, Ontario, that provides settlement services for newcomers to Canada. We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent, **Settlement Worker in Schools** to join our team.

This role, based in neighborhood schools, provides information to our clients about community resources, social services, professional services and government programs. It also assists newcomers, either one on one or in workshops, in understanding Canadian culture, norms, rights & responsibilities and the steps involved in becoming a citizen.

Having a social service background, a deep understanding of the newcomer experience and detailed knowledge of community resources and government programs ensures your success in this role. You'll also need a driver's license and vehicle as this role requires to travel to multiple schools in a day. The ability to speak a newcomer language is a great asset.

As CCLC works with vulnerable clients in our community, you'll need to be able to pass a Vulnerable Persons Police Check to work for our organization.
