Magog's research and development team is looking for a new technical team manager. Do you want to contribute to the design of equipment that changes lives? Join us

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the mechanical and mechatronics team of the Research and Development department, and ensure its professional development;
- Participate in various design reviews and be able to make a critical judgment on the proposed technical solutions;
- Monitor the technical skills of the department, identify needs and gaps and propose action plans to fill them;
- In collaboration with program managers, allocate resources for project implementation;
- In collaboration with Human Resources, recruit and integrate members of the technical team;
- Create and maintain a community of practice within the local and global technical team;
- Participate in the growth and maintenance of the innovation ecosystem of the R&D department;
- Coordinate the activities of the intellectual property group of the R&D department;
- Participate in the research and evaluation of new subcontractors;
- Coordinate SR&ED tax credit claims activities;
- Coordinate the recruitment and mandates of interns.

**Requirements**:

- University degree in engineering, combined with 5 to 8 years of experience in product development and manufacturing processes;
- Ability to manage and mobilize a team;
- Ability to have a short-term and long-term, strategic and tactical vision;
- Ability to do team and project management/planning;
- Bilingual (5/5);
- Leadership, Rigor, dynamism, autonomy;
- Good analytical skills and ability to work in a team;
- Be able to travel occasionally
