**SUMMARY**
The CMM Operator will operate the CMM, perform gage calibrations, and other testing duties as required to support the production process. Work with both Engineering and Manufacturing to assist in new product launches and perform all required CMM checks for the day-to-day production operation.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate, setup and run CMM to evaluate production part samples using PC-DMIS software.
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Perform routine calibration checks on CMM equipment and maintain proper records
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to resolve measurement discrepancies
- Work with the team to develop fixtures for CMM to ensure repeatable results.
- Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
- Knowledgeable of and supports Human Resource, Quality and Safety/Environmental policies & practices. Strives for continuous improvement in their area of expertise and job function that results in better cost, quality, or functionality of the products we deliver to our customers
- Promote good employee relations and high morale
- Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- 3 - 5 years of PC-DMIS experience preferred
- Solid understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret complex blueprints
- Familiarity with other precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.46-$32.04 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
