We embrace diversity and strive to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment.About the Role:We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to support and enhance our maintenance operations through efficient planning, documentation, and collaboration. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the identification, organization, and maintenance of equipment data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This role ensures technical documentation and equipment records are accurate, up to date, and readily accessible to support maintenance, calibration, and operational efficiency. The Maintenance Planner works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality Control, and Operations to optimize equipment reliability and support production goals.This is apermanent full-time positionlocated inWindsor, NS.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and continuously improve the CMMS database, ensuring accurate and current equipment information.Collect and validate equipment field data to ensure as found conditions match documentation and CMMS records.Promote a Safety First culture by incorporating safety documentation (JSAs, LOTO, Confined Space permits) into CMMS workflows.Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks and planned shutdowns with Production Planning and Operations.Develop, update, and assist in managing maintenance procedures, work instructions, and QA documentation within Unipoint and CMMS.Assist in Building and managing equipment files, spare parts lists, and bills of materials.Order parts and materials required for maintenance work.Provide technical support to the maintenance team and facilitate backlog meetings to optimize scheduling.Ensure comprehensive documentation of work history, training records, and maintenance activities.Support health and safety initiatives by adhering to BIOVECTRA’s Occupational Health and Safety Policy.Perform additional duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational needs.Enough about us. Let’s Talk About YouWhat You Bring to the Role:Education:Post-secondary education in a related engineering field, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.Experience & Skills:Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance or industrial manufacturing experience.Hands-on experience with industrial mechanical and electrical systems would be an asset.Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and equipment documentation would be an asset.Experience interpreting and working with technical drawings.Proven organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.Knowledge of project planning and resource management.Why Join BIOVECTRA?BIOVECTRA offers a competitive salary and benefits package including a healthcare and personal health spending account.
