Our Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This role is a hybrid work from home position.

**About This Role**:
The Translation Specialist is responsible for the translation from English-into-French a diverse range of documents across all Centres of Excellence at Arbor Memorial Inc. Documents include corporate communications, internal and external processes and procedures, training materials, presentations as well maintaining the content on Arbor’s external and internal websites. Reporting to the Manager, Talent, Culture and Employee Experience, this role will work with each Centre of Excellence to determine translation requirements and manage requests to ensure projects and operational requirements are met.

**Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities**:

- Bachelor's degree in translation or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in translation.
- Experience in highly regulated and technical industries is considered an asset.
- Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop).
- Demonstrate independence and motivation.
- Be able to work under tight deadlines and under mínimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and foster internal and external business relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
- Proven ability to partner with all levels of the Company.
- This position is a hybrid work-from-home position with the requirement to attend Arbor’s Home Office on a monthly basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Translate English documents into French requested by all of Arbor’s Centres of Excellence. This includes all translation requests including special projects.
- Proofread and review translation requests completed by external contacts.
- Manage translation requests to ensure deadlines are met. Prioritization of requests to be determined by business requirements.
- Translate and update various policies and corporate guidelines. Ensure the translation of all documents, processes, procedures and specifications are accurate and on brand with Arbor’s Employer Brand Strategy.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team on all corporate communications, as well as the internal and external French websites and social media properties.
- Support the recording of French voiceovers for e-learning, presentations and other recordings as required.
- Review existing documents to ensure compliance with Chapter C-11 and Bill 96.
- Participate in French language meetings as required by business operations.
- Participate in Office Québécois de la langue Française committee (OQLF) meetings on a bi-annual basis.
- Other duties as required
