Job Summary
Working with a multidisciplinary team and through multiple funding streams this position will provide general oversight of all aspects of the reception area, the connection between clients and drop-in and clinical staff, data entry, preparation and tracking of referrals, managing incoming calls and ensuring the cleanliness of the bathrooms and reception areas
Key Responsibilities
- Develop tools to improve data gathering & communication effectiveness.
- Data entry in EMR and other organization data management programs
- Assess the daily support needs of clients as they enter the drop-in centre and connect with appropriate personnel.
- Facilitate client issue management.
- Provide monthly data assessment to members of the management team.
- Prepare data for reporting periods according to the funding requirements.
- Provide back up support to the Clinic Coordinator as needed.
- Ensure the reception area and lobby are always clean.

Education /Training/Experience
- 3-5 years of experience dealing directly with large scale data management required.
- Training and demonstrated experience in verbal de-escalation are critical to this roll.
- Super user in Juno EMR system preferred.
- African, Caribbean and Black communities—including men and women from regions where HIV is endemic.
- Indigenous peoples.
- People (men and women) who inject drugs or share drug equipment.
- **People who are homeless or under-housed**.
- Youth who are street-involved. People involved in the provincial correctional system.
- Experience with assessment of risk, and readiness, develop plans for quick implementation.
- Demonstrates ability to think both strategically and tactically.
- Works on more complex, larger-scale project requirement analysis under the direction of senior staff
- Ability to stay organized, manage time, problem-solve, and make good decision, communication.
- Conflict resolution: negotiation abilities, and handling stress are a large part of the work.
- Must have valid driver’s license

**Salary**: From $25.62 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
