**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and hygienic.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with persons with disabilities or in senior care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care and Parkinsons'practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or moving clients when necessary.
- Must have own reliable transportation as
- Certificate of completion of a Personal Support Worker, Developmental Services Worker or equivalent.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
