**Bilingual (French/English) Automotive Technical Trainer**
**to be based out of either Ajax, ON or Laval, QC**
- With travel to the other training centers in Canada as needed (i.e. Richmond, BC, Laval, QC, and Ajax, ON), this position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the training centre, along with the accurate scheduling and maintenance of classes through the Learning Management System [LMS].
- This position is also required in the review, maintenance and development of course content.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Be an advocate for the VW and Audi Brands-
- Provide technical instruction, based on the Service Training curriculum for technicians-
- Participate in and plan a continuous three-month rolling Service Training schedule, which includes entering the schedules in the Learning Management System (LMS) and closing the rosters after every class-
- Assist in the review, maintenance and development of curricula, specific courses and technical education methods-
- Assist in the determination of core competencies, training needs and development of training action plan for dealership staff-
- Managing the Learning Center for the day-to-day operations and maintaining assets such as, but not limited to vehicles, equipment, storage and security procedures.**What we’re asking for**:

- Provincial Technicians License or Interprovincial License must be held by the applicant
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Science, Education or related degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience in a technical automotive position within an OEM Dealership
- 3+ years' experience in training or teaching is an asset
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French (interpersonal, presentation, and written)
- Must be willing to adapt to various environments
- Demonstrates highly competent facilitation and interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and well organized
- Must be a continuous student of automotive technology
- Must be a team player and have the ability to build and sustain credibility with dealer and internal teams
- Flexibility for up to 75% travel
- Must have a valid passport
- A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective team leader and collaborator
- Must be flexible with overtime

**Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un **Formateur Technique Automobile Bilingue (français/anglais**) pour travailler à Ajax (Ontario) ou à Laval (Québec).**

Sous la supervision du directeur de l’académie de formation de groupe, il incombe principalement au titulaire de ce poste d’offrir à tout le personnel de service des concessions Volkswagen et Audi des formations techniques en matière de technologies et de processus automobiles. Ces formations comprennent des procédures théoriques et pratiques de diagnostic, d’en
