**Job Title**: Delivery Driver

**Department**: Operations

**Reports To**: Operations Manager

**Job Summary**: The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to customers' locations in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively. The Delivery Driver must ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Delivery Execution**:

- Operate delivery vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Ensure accurate and complete delivery of products according to customer orders and company standards.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Provide high-quality customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to deliveries.
- Obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**:

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on delivery vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness.
- Report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor promptly.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, delivery times, and addresses.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts and invoices, are completed and submitted.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to driving and vehicle safety.
- Ensure loads are secured properly and handled with care to prevent damage.
- **Problem Solving**:

- Address any unforeseen issues such as road closures, traffic delays, or delivery problems effectively.
- Communicate any deviations from planned routes or schedules to the superior.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
- **Licensing**: Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of driving and standing.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physical exertion.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Work Hours**: Ideally 7:30am to 4:00pm (8 hours) twice a week, with ocasionally longer days (up to 10 hours, once a week)
- **Environment**: Work primarily involves driving and handling cases and kegs. Exposure to different weather conditions and varying temperatures.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Competitive salary based on experience and performance.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
