As a Starter, you will be responsible for managing the flow of play on the course, ensuring an efficient and enjoyable experience for all golfers. You will provide clear direction, enforce club policies, and act as an ambassador of the club by delivering a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep track of all players actual starting times and monitor pace of play in accordance with appropriate timelines utilizing Tag Marshal
- Assist golfers in maintaining the pace of play
- Continuously communicate with Pro Shop and Outside Service - working together as a team
- Assist golf operations team when required at bag drop area
- During periods of inclement weather, assist golfers off the course
- Inform golfers of any rules of the day (cart path, pace of play, pin locations etc.) and ensure that they follow the rules and golf course etiquette
- Provide excellent service to all guests and assist them with any questions or concerns
- Assist with set up and implementation of member and public golf events
- Whenever possible keep course free of garbage and debris
- Always maintain a high profile so golfers are aware of your presence
- Report all golf and facility related problems to the Head Golf Professional.
- Adhere to all Lora Bay policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
- Excellent public relations skills
- Must excel in customer service
- Proven organizational skills and an attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work well in a team environment
- Be neat and professional in appearance
- Approach responsibilities in an organized and energetic manner

Provides guest service to external contacts, guests who are golfing at Lora Bay, as well as internal contacts, in coordinating activities of golf shop attendants.
- High school level English communication skills
- Prior experience in golf operations or experience as a golfer

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/REQUIREMENTS
- Work under pressure
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 LBS
- Long periods of standing on your feet

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-Time, Seasonal
