**About Us**

From custom decks, pergolas, stairs, fences, and saunas to pool houses and bunkies, our in‑house carpentry crew brings visions to life.

**What You’ll Do**
- Construct, install, and finish outdoor structures: decks, stairs, fences, pergolas, arbors, saunas, bunkies, poolhouses, porches. Renovations and interior spaces in winter.
- Read and interpret landscape plans, shop drawings, and blueprints
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials—from cedar and pressure-treated wood to composite and specialty lumber
- Ensure clean, safe, and organized job sites, collaborating with landscape crews
- Maintain tools, inspect equipment, and follow safety protocols (PPE, OH&S standards)

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years in carpentry, with visible proficiency in deck, fence, and outdoor feature construction is preferred
- **Technical Skills**: Strong woodworking skills—hand and power tools, precision joinery, finishing techniques
- **Blueprint Literacy**: Able to read and execute based on architectural and landscape plans
- **Code Awareness**: Familiarity with Ontario building/fire codes is a plus
- **Problem‑Solver**: Adaptable, resourceful, and solutions‑oriented in a dynamic jobsite environment
- **Team Player**: Excellent communication skills and ability to work alongside design, horticulture, and installation teams
- **Reliable**: Must have a valid G‑class driver’s licence and reliable transportation to worksites
- **Safety‑Focused**: Commitment to workplace safety, tool maintenance, and OH&S compliance

**What Makes You Stand Out**
- Red‑Seal or equivalent certification
- Previous experience in landscape woodworking projects
- Carpentry or foreperson leadership experience
- Expertise with finishing cedar, composite decking, timber framing
- Trade‑related training/certification (e.g., safety, first aid, fall protection)
