**HOTEL CONTROLLER**

Controller responsibilities are, but not limited to, oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, cash management, preparation of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliation, budgets, filing sales tax returns and payroll.
**Duties**:
- Perform all accounting duties in the decentralized full-service hotel.
- Protect the assets of the hotel.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
- Prepare annual budgets and weekly projections.
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place and monitors such controls.
- Assist GM in service and maintenance contract negotiations and renewals.
- Maintain check book purchase order system.
- Ensure timely billing and collection activities for Accounts Receivables.
- Review daily flash report and prepare daily revenue report and labor report.
- Prepare weekly/monthly corporate reports.
- Overseeing all accounting functions including and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
- Handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Statement preparation.
**Education Requirements**:
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or related field.
**Required Skills**:
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Detail oriented.
- Great communication skills.
- Full-service hotel Controller experience.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Flexible work schedule.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS & Micros POS.
