**Details**:Full time, Days, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

**Pay Scale**:Commensurate with education and experience

**Location**: GEF locations throughout Edmonton. (travel between sites is required, mileage paid).

**Take the lead with GEF Seniors Housing**, the largest provider of subsidized seniors’ housing in Alberta and a dedicated registered charity. We are passionate about influencing the quality of life for seniors in every facet of our operation, and we are searching for a like-minded professional to fill our Manager, Housing Support role.

You will drive the integration of our guiding principles into all interactions with residents, tenants, staff, families, and partner agencies. A firm commitment to GEF's policies, procedures, understanding of provincial and municipal acts, legislations and regulations related to the housing industry is paramount in this role. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Examine and update GEF programs, policies and procedures as needed, ensuring their alignment with our Mission, Vision, Values, and the principles of the Quality of Life Philosophy.
- Be at the forefront of industry developments, using this knowledge to make informed decisions.
- Coordinate compliance with all relevant regulations, legislations, and standards applicable to Housing Management Bodies and the provision of social housing.
- Assist in preparing the organization for audits and ensure adherence during investigations.
- Guide Portfolio teams in managing complex matters, fostering strong relationships with residents, tenants, and families.
- Foster strategic partnerships with Senior Leadership, Portfolio Management teams, and external Stakeholders to enhance service coordination and collaborative initiatives.
- Identifies gaps in core business processes, systems and facilities.

**Qualifications and Competencies**:

- Bachelor or Graduate Degree (a diploma with related experience may be considered).
- 6 - 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in housing and/or Human Services.
- PC proficiency, strategic planning, finance/budgeting.
- Proficiency in project management and supervisory skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse workforce across various management levels.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of seniors housing industry and relevant regulations, legislations, and acts is preferable.
