**Responsibilities**:

- Source and purchase high-quality building materials and supplies at competitive prices **Negotiate with vendors to obtain favourable terms and conditions ** Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery of goods **Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels ** Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials and supplies are ordered in a timely manner to meet production schedules **Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative suppliers or materials as appropriate ** Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new product offerings

Previous Purchaser Experience or Similar Strong Asset

CashierPro Experience Strong Asset

Suggested Experiences and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the building supply industry - Proven negotiation skills and ability to obtain favorable terms and conditions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to travel as needed
