We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accountant to support our growing team and ensure financial accuracy.**

**Position Overview**

**As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and supporting job costing and inventory controls. This role requires a solid understanding of both manufacturing and construction accounting processes, including cost tracking, project-based billing, and inventory management.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP or ASPE**:

- **Complete month-end and year-end closings, journal entries, and reconciliations**:

- **Manage accounts payable and receivable functions**:

- **Track and reconcile job costs, project budgets, and WIP (Work-in-Progress) reports**:

- **Monitor and report on raw material and finished goods inventory for manufacturing**:

- **Process payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance**:

- **Maintain companies pension plan**:

- **Complete budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis**:

- **Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and insurance requirements**:

- **Collaborate with sales teams and operations to ensure accuracy in pricing and daily production reporting**:

- **Manage and review bank accounts, transactions and cash flow**:

- **Complete/File/Monitor all necessary compliance audits, EHT, WSIB, HST, etc.**:

- **Lead the companies IT functions**:

- **Find, file and support all Grant Applications and Funding opportunities**:

- **Support annual audit**

**Qualifications**
- **Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field**:

- **Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, and inventory management**:

- **Experience with accounting software such as Sage, or similar**:

- **Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills**:

- **CPA designation (or working toward) is a requirement**
