**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Milltown Millworks is currently searching for an experienced Millworker/Joiner to join our team. This is a craftsman position requiring focused specialty skillsets working with solid wood, wood composites and veneers to make high quality architectural millwork. Applicants should enjoy working on complicated, high-end projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, as well as a positive attitude will be key to success.

**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Reading and interpreting shop drawings, and building products to spec
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood or wood substitutes
- Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Previous experience as a Millworker/Joiner
- Proficient in using a variety of woodworking tools and machinery
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials
- Strong understanding of metal work and integration with millwork
- Ability to read millwork shop drawings and produce millwork in an efficient manner
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once in an organized manner
- A keen eye for detail, and a commitment to creating high-quality millwork
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and possess strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude

**COMPENSATION**:

- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Both medical and dental benefits available following a probation period.

**CONTACT**:
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
