**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop, communicate, implement, and manage documented EHS initiatives in collaboration with the national EHS team, ensuring a uniform message is delivered to all districts
- Monitor changes to EHS regulations, assess these changes for business impact, and communicate necessary procedural changes to internal stakeholders accordingly
- Audit internally and assist districts in ongoing compliance with federal and provincial legislative EHS requirements and with Brenntag Canada and Brenntag North America policies and procedures
- Support districts in undergoing audits and inspections of the company’s management systems by customers, suppliers, and regulators
- Assist in third-party logistics conformance to corporate requirements through evaluation and monitoring, where required
- Oversee investigations into workplace incidents including root cause analysis and implementation of meaningful corrective actions
- Provide coaching and training to internal and external stakeholders as they relate to compliance to EHS requirements and corporate procedures
- Assist in the collection and organization of EHS and sustainability data for reporting to Brenntag North America and regulators
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns respecting EHS
- Act as a member of the national emergency response committee, as needed, and assist in the procurement of first aid and emergency response supplies and equipment for the districts

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Post-secondary education in chemistry, biology, occupational health and safety, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ occupational health and safety and/or regulatory affairs experience in chemical distribution or a similar industry
- Competent understanding of federal and provincial EHS regulatory framework
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Experience/training with chemical release emergency response an asset
- Fluency in both English and French an asset
