**Branch Manager**

Intertek is searching for a Branch Manager to join our Food team in our **Saskatoon **office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in **Management **

The **Branch Manager **is responsible for:
**What you’ll do**:

- To manage the branch testing and administrative activities
- To maintain high standards of customer relations and service
- To prepare branch budgets and control the operating costs
- Maintains and manages all financial and corporate records of the Branch, reporting directly to the area Managers
- Develop new key account relationship and act as the main point of contact to ensure effective communication and services deliveries to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Responsible for the business growth and execution of business development/sales strategy to achieve the target.
- Prepare and conduct client-specific presentations to respond to client needs.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities and industry trends
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge; participate in industry tradeshows and conferences
- Review and maintain assigned accounts in the CRM for accuracy.
- Prepare and lead internal and external webinars to promote our key services.
- To recommend hiring and dismissal, and to evaluate employee performance and maintain discipline in a uniform and consistent manner
- Perform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
- Sets a positive example for all employees through professional behaviour and maintenances of a professional atmosphere in the workplace.
- Carries out all responsibilities in a supportive manner with adherence to the Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Management System, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and Strategy, and exercises good judgment, common sense and diplomacy.
- The Branch Manager should have a good knowledge of the significance of quality data as generated by test methods

**What it takes to be successful in this role**:
The Branch Manager needs a good knowledge of Food and Agri Trade inspection and testing processes and a familiarity with the significance of quality data as generated by test methods. BS or BA in any of the following fields: bio-industry sciences, supply chain, quality assurance or business areas with additional training or experience in the above technical fields.
