**Drafting Technician **in the environmental team

**Your work environment at EXP**

EXP is seeking a Drafting Technician to work in their Environmental team in the GTA / Niagara Region. The environment is fast-paced and growth-oriented, ideally suited for individuals who like to take charge and are driven to build on current successes.
- Assist Project Team using AutoCAD along with ArcGIS skills to efficiently develop/revise plan view drawings, cross sections & details for various environmental projects with guidance from the Project Manager or Engineer
- Tasks will include geo-referencing existing drawings, or aerial photographs, existing plans or figures
- Development of plan view drawings based on GPS coordinates collected in the field
- Completion of tasks received from Project Managers. These tasks may include a variety of non-technical field activities in support of our environmental field techs, as well as office related duties such as filing, copying etc.
- Ability to resolve and/or communicate any technical issues that may arise

**What your experience looks like**
- Educational background in a relevant discipline
- Previous experience with AutoCAD software and ArcGIS (at least one year experience would be considered an asset)
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform individually or as a Project Team Member
- Technical knowledge in an engineering or environmental discipline would be an asset Having a vehicle would be an asset
