Tarkett Sports is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join its talented team based in Montreal. The position is hybrid.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, the FP&A Analyst will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis function of our organization. Your primary duties will include gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting in the development of financial forecasts and budgets. You will work closely with other members of the finance team, as well as with department leads, to provide insights and recommendations that help drive business decisions.

You will also be a part of our continuous improvement report optimization process as we look to create better self-serve reporting by using BI tools such as PowerBI.

More specifically, you will have to:
- Collect and analyze financial/non-financial data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity, to identify trends and patterns in financial data to support forecasting and decision-making, to develop processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial modeling and data management.- Prepare reports and presentations that summarize financial performance and highlight key trends and variances at month-end- Conduct special analyses or projects as requested by management or business partners. Provide insights and recommendations based on ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making- Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the FP&A function.

Experience & Education Desired:
- Bachelor’s in finance or accounting; Pursuing a professional designation (CFA, CPA) is an asset;- 2+ years experience in financial analysis- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMIFS, Nested IF statements, Pivot Tables). Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerQuery an asset;- Bilingual - French and English
