As a Uniform Room Attendant you will be responsible for overseeing the Uniform Room. Uniform Room is the command center for housekeeping department.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Answer calls from associates and other departments.
- Receive, record, store and distribute clean, pressed uniforms to staff.
- Monitor GXP ensuring associates and guests calls are completed on time.
- Enter and dispatch calls to House Attendant including housekeeping traces.
- Check periodically the condition of uniforms. Repair any uniforms.
- Maintain inventory of all uniforms.
- Log all sent out and Received Guest laundry and Manager’s dry cleaning in the Logbook and shared drive. Dispatch Guest Laundry to be delivered to the guest.
- Monitor Lightspeed. Ensure pending rooms are prioritized.
- Make any necessary photocopies of required paperwork, request off forms or lost and found tickets.
- Wash uniforms, duvet and dog covers, and rags in house.
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning/laundry supplies and communicate needs to manager.
- Maintain all laundry equipment and inform manager for any maintenance needs.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the uniform room.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a passion for dealing with and emotionally connecting with others
- Ability to deal with high volumes
- Basic tailoring knowledge and experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a similar size/type of property
- Must be able to build and maintain credibility and relationships with customers (internal and external)

- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility
- Must be able to lift or carry up to 20 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Basic computer skills
