The Thales Ottawa office has been a major supplier and long-term trusted partner to DND, enabling the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Coast Guard to achieve mission success. **Ottawa, ON., (CAN.), Hybrid** **Position Summary** **Key Areas of Responsibility** - Implement, integrate, and troubleshoot/test Business Process Automation (BPA) flows/processes including web service invocations, embedded scripts, and user interactions - Automate Business Processes, engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure the defined processes meet the need; - Lead a team of BPA specialists providing direct oversight of their work; and - Champion digital transformation and automation within In-Service Support projects. **Minimum Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent education with relevant experience - Software Development and Business Process Automation experience: 10 years, including (the following items are not exclusive of each other): - Experience leading a team of software developers or BPA specialists: 2 years; - Experience automating and analyzing business processes: 2 years; - Experience developing Web Services: 7 years, including:Back-end web app software development with Java web services; - Experience defining software requirements, user stories, and/or GUI UX design based on stakeholder needs.
