**About HEI**:
Exceptional teaching practice, providing students with effective learning opportunities across public health programs. Teaching primarily focuses on applied public health and community health research, including epidemiology and research methods, knowledge synthesis, translation, and exchange, program planning and evaluation methods, and health policy.
Developing curriculum, learning resources and teaching materials to support student learning in the HEI’s educational programs.
Contributing to the academic mission at the university through teaching and learning, educational scholarship, service to the Department, FHS, and University

**Eligibility**:
Successful completion of a PhD, MD, epidemiology, or other relevant qualifications specific to public health.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching in a range of learning contexts including online synchronous and asynchronous structures, and in-person classroom.
Experience teaching courses based on inquiry or problem-based learning and incorporating public health or community partners into the course curriculum.
Experience in curriculum development and course design using evidence-based educational methodology.
Ability to contribute to research, evaluation, and scholarship, including prior success in obtaining grant funding related to public health teaching and learning.
An understanding of Canadian public health workforce needs and the ability to incorporate them into teaching and learning.
Strong knowledge translation skills and relationships with key public health organizations in Canada.
Experience supervising MPH practicum students.
Minimum 3 years of recent experience teaching in the public health sphere.
Strong communication skills are required.
